FTI Law, 26 Broadway, New York, New York 10004, United States

What to Expect

Once you’ve taken our award-winning whistleblower evaluation, contact FTI Law by phone or WhatsApp. FTI Law will get back to you within a few hours. Within a couple of days, you’ll be able to schedule a free, private consultation. If your claim qualifies, FTI Law will prepare your submission to the SEC over the following month. Successful submissions often take about four months to be processed by the SEC, at which point they will get back to FTI Law and schedule an anonymous interview with the whistleblower. Given the time it takes the SEC to bring an enforcement action, payouts take approximately three years or longer.

More Information

FTI Law is a U.S. law firm with corporate crime lawyers licensed in the U.S. state of New York, but our clients need not be U.S. citizens. FTI Law is actively pursuing dozens of corruption violations internationally.

The company you are reporting must be under the SEC’s jurisdiction. An easy way to make this determination is to check if the company is traded on the New York Stock Exchange or NASDAQ or if it is a subsidiary of a company traded there. Companies under SEC jurisdiction are most often large, multinational corporations featuring thousands of employees and bringing in millions of dollars in annual revenue. Keep in mind that international conglomerates may have dozens of subsidiaries.

All crimes must be against laws enforced by the SEC, but we focus on reporting violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) which involve bribery and corruption. Examples of other crimes include, but are not limited to, Ponzi schemes and pyramid schemes, offering payment or anything of value to obtain or retain business, failing to keep accurate books and records, failing to implement sufficient anti-bribery compliance policies, stock manipulation, broker embezzlement, and more.
